Ulysse Nardin was only 13 years old in 1846 when he settled in Le Locle to develop his own chronometers and complex pocket watches. Since then, Ulysse Nardin's achievements in the development of the marine chronometer has been honored with the highest distinctions throughout the world. The firm was awarded over 4300 first prizes and 18 gold medals at world fairs and international exhibitions. It's marine chronometers equipped over 50 navies on all five continents.
